Bon Jovi’s Restaurant Offers Free Meals To Government Workers
Jon Bon Jovi to help feed federal workers affected by the government shutdown.
Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Feed Me? Jon Bon Jovi has really stood by his belief that (Everything I Do) I Do It For You by announcing on Saturday that his restaurant will be serving free meals to federal employees and their families who have been going without pay due to the partial government shutdown.
This small act of kindness will really make it a Beautiful Day for those workers who are having a hard time during the government shutdown.
Bon Jovi’s restaurant is called JBJ Soul Kitchen and it’s a “community restaurant” that lets patrons pay a suggested donation or volunteer at the restaurant to pay for the meals. You could say the restaurant let’s you have it Any Way You Want It.
Over eight hundred thousand Government employees have been on leave or are working without pay since the government shutdown started on December 22nd.
Jon Bon Jovi’s restaurant is in New Jersey, which is where he grew up. I wonder if he said that he wanted to help out in “My Hometown”.
As well as being a restaurateur Jon Bon Jovi also has a band named Bon Jovi, which is his surname. I wonder if he thought of that band name in the Heat of the Moment.
If you were hoping for a reference to any actual Bon Jovi songs in this article then you can Go Your Own Way.
All jokes aside, onya Jon.
