Topless Serena Williams Sings Aussie Hit For Breast Cancer

Tennis champion Serena Williams has stepped from the court and into the recording studio as part of a new breast cancer awareness campaign.

Channeling late Aussie singer Chrissy Amphlett, Williams sings the Divinyls' hit "I Touch Myself" reminding women to self-check their breasts regularly.

Williams shared a video on Instagram, where she looks down the barrel of the camera while singing. She is completely topless, covering her bare chest with her hands.

And it turns out, she can really sing.

"This Breast Cancer Awareness Month I’ve recorded a version of The Divinyls' global hit 'I Touch Myself' to remind women to self-check regularly," Williams wrote on Instagram.

"Yes, this put me out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to do it because it’s an issue that affects all women of all colors, all around the world. Early detection is key -- it saves so many lives. I just hope this helps to remind women of that."

Williams also said the I Touch Myself Project was created in the memory of Amphlett who passed away from breast cancer.
