Three 'High On Life' YouTubers Die In Waterfall Accident

Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper were all part of the High On Life vlogging group.

Three YouTubers have died in a tragic accident after falling over a waterfall in Canada.

Ryker Gamble, Alexey Lyakh and Megan Scraper were swimming at the top of Shannon Falls in British Columbia on Tuesday when they "slipped and fell into a pool 30m below," police said.

All three were part of the High On Life vlogging group, which has over 500k subscribers.

"There are truly no words that can be said to ease the pain and devastation that we are all going through right now," said the High On Life group in a sombre video.

"They were three of the warmest, kindest, most driven and outgoing people that you could ever meet. The world has lost a great deal of light with their passing."

It's being reported that the three were walking along the pool system above Shannon Falls when Scarper slipped. When Lykah and Gamble wen to help, they also fell.

"While it doesn't look all that dangerous in pictures, in person it does," said local reporter Anita Bathe on Twitter. "Rocks are extremely slippery too."

A GoFundMe account for a "celebration of life" has so far raised more than $5,600. A Legacy Fund that "empowers others to pursue their passions and dreams, and to live life to the fullest" will also be established.

Lykah gained some notoriety last year when he and fellow High On Life vlogger, Justis Price Brown, spent a week in US jail after pleading guilty to walking on a sensitive hot spring in Yellowstone National Park. They were also banned from US federal land for five years.

The YouTube community is paying tribute to the three.
