Watch: Aussie Pace Ace Pat Cummins Takes Four Wickets In Eight Balls

India leads Australia by 346 runs with five second-innings wickets in hand after day three of the third Test at the MCG.

A late flurry of wickets to Pat Cummins -- four in eight balls -- was exciting to watch, and included the prized scalps of Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara, both for ducks.

But nothing can erase the fact that India's first innings lead of 292 has already effectively won them this match, on a pitch which be extremely difficult to bat on in the fourth innings.

The reason they've got such a big lead? No secret. Our batting sucks. That's not eloquent but it's a very precise version of the truth.

Scroll down for all the big moments and highlights of today's play as it panned out.
