Diego Maradona Submits Late Entry For Year's Best Post-Match Interview

Diego Maradona says it best when he says nothing at all.

Just as his hand reached for the ball during the infamous 'Hand of God' goal at the 1986 World Cup, Maradona has found himself reaching even harder for some words, any words at all, during a post-match interview in Mexico.

Dorados de Sinaloa, the second-tier club the 58-year-old now manages, had just secured a place in the Ascenso MX final.

Good, great, wonderful some might say! Some. But not Maradona.

When asked his opinion on the level of play in the league by ESPN reporters, the Argentine left the mic'd men hanging in what is arguably one of the most uncomfortable exchanges ever caught on live television.

"What do you think about the level of the MX league?” they asked.

We'd transcribe his answer but how you spell a pause as pregnant as what Maradona gave birth to is still up for debate.
