Eagles Star Lewis Jetta's Hilarious Gym Interview

"We kick a footy around for our job."

On the surface, Lewis Jetta is the lightning fast midfielder for the West Coast Eagles AFL club.

But Ten Eyewitness News' Lachy Reid sat down with the Eagles funnyman, and discovered he's not one to take life too seriously.

"I'm a jokester, prankster, and I've been like that my whole life," he said.

"I'm never too serious, and if I see someone else a bit too serious I'll just tell them to smile."

Despite being a professional athlete, Jetta spends more time getting out of training than hitting the gym.

"That's the key, you look busy -- a rep here and there -- have a conversation with the coach, do another rep, have a drink of water, sit down for a bit, and before you know it, an hour has gone by," he said.

But the enviable position he is in is not lost on Jetta.

"When you're coming to training, have a look at the people on the buses and in work cars with suits going to sit in an office, we're very lucky," he said.
