The RSPCA Saved 200 Neglected Guinea Pigs, Now They Need A Home

More than 200 guinea pigs have been found living in horrible conditions in a Brisbane home.

Now the search is on for new families to adopt them.

The animals were found in the garage of the home, which police believe used to be a guinea pig farm. Many of the animals seized were pregnant or suffering from a range health issues due to the appalling conditions they were living in.

The RSPCA has confirmed the animals have been taken into care. Due to the large number of guinea pigs, the organisation is appealing to the public for food, cages and hutches.

More to come.
