NSFW: Runaway Parrot Saves Herself, Tells Rescuer To F*** Off

Jessie the Macaw has taken 'flipping the bird' to a fowl new level.

Jessie, a cheeky parrot with a sharp beak who was stuck on a London rooftop for three days, has taken aim at a firefighter attempting to rescue her with some 'fowl' language.

Firefighters were called to the Macaw's rescue after she escaped from her home in Edmonton and spent three days on a neighbour's roof refusing to come down when her owners and the RSPCA attempted to lure her.

Her owners, concerned she may have been injured and was unable to get down herself, called the fire crew who were all ready to swoop in and save the day before Jessie gave them a piece of her mind.

Watch Manager Chris Swallow said the crew were told to tell the bird "I love you" in order to bond with her.

And while Jessie responded with "I love you" at first, their relationship soon went south when the turquoise parrot promptly told the firefighter to "F*** off" when he attempted to bring her down, before flying off to another rooftop as she continued swearing.

"Jessie also speaks Turkish and Greek, so we tried telling her to ‘come’ in both those languages too," Swallow said after the incident.

"Thankfully it soon became apparent that Jessie was fine and uninjured as she flew off to another roof and then to a tree."

If there's one moral to take out of this story, it goes to show there's some birds that just can't be caged.
