Elderly Man Charged After Woman Stabbed To Death At Sydney Home
An elderly man walked into a Sydney police station and told officers a woman, his wife, had been stabbed.
The 73-year-old man spoke to police late on Monday night, after he walked into Merrylands Police Station.
After a conversation with police, officers attended a home in Leigh Street in Merrylands where they found a 63-year-old woman with a wound to her chest.
Attempts were made to revive her but she died at the scene.
The man was taken to Granville Police Station where he was later charged with murder.
He was refused bail to appear at Fairfield Local Court today.
