Man Charged After Allegedly Filming In Office Bathroom

A man has been charged after allegedly taking a GoPro into a toilet cubicle and using it to film people without their knowledge.

The 61-year-old, who works as a printer technician, arrived at an office in Argyle Street in Picton in Sydney's south-west on Monday morning.

While he was at the office servicing a printer he allegedly placed a GoPro camera inside a toilet cubicle and started filming.

The 61-year-old left the office and just half-an-hour later, a female staff member noticed the camera after leaving the cubicle.  She told other staff members and the police were alerted about the presence of the camera.

The man was arrested at about 4.40pm on Monday and he was charged with two counts of filming a person in a private act.

He will appear in Picton Local Court on Tuesday.
