Three Charged After Man Shot During Brawl
Police have charged three men after another man was shot in the foot in a fight in Sydney's west.
Officers rushed to Berry Street at Clyde, west of Sydney, around 5pm on Monday after reports a man had been shot.
Police arrived to find a 48-year-old man with a gun wound to his foot.
Footage from the scene showed police handcuffing several men, with a large number of uniformed and plain-clothes officers in attendance.
The injured man was treated by ambulance paramedics and rushed to Westmead Hospital, where he is said to be in a stable condition.
Two men, both aged 22, were taken to Granville Police Station, while a third 25-year-old man suffering facial injuries was taken to hospital under police guard. He has since been released.
One of the 22 year olds, a man from Guildford, was charged with discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and common assault.
The 25 year old, also from Guildford, was charged with discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Both men were refused bail to appear in court on Tuesday.
The second 22 year old, charged with affray, was granted bail to appear in court on February 5.
