Jeepers! Man Charged For Towing Boat With His Mobility Scooter
He's going to need a bigger scooter.
A man accused of being a disqualified driver will face court next year after after a mobility scooter was used to tow a motorboat along the busy M1 Pacific Motorway.
The 35-year-old is accused of towing 17-foot boat with his mobility scooter along the motorway in October, police say.
As he made his way through Belmont, in the NSW Hunter Region, he was stopped by local police.
On Tuesday he was charged with driving whilst disqualified, driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle on the road using an unregistered trailer.
He will front Belmont Local Court on January 9.
