Man Charged With Murder After Stabbing In Western Sydney
The 31-year-old man appeared in court on Sunday.
A man has been charged with murder after allegedly stabbing another man to death during an argument in Sydney’s west.
Nathan Chatimba, 31, is accused of fatally stabbing a 34-year-old man outside a home in St Clair about 6.40pm on Saturday.
Paramedics treated the man, who was found with multiple stab wounds, but he died at the scene.
Police allege the pair, who were known to each other, were arguing in the front yard of the property when the older man was attacked.
Two hours later, Chatimba was arrested at a home two kilometres away and charged with murder.
His matter was briefly mentioned in court on Sunday where the accused, through his Legal Aid laywer, did not apply for bail and it was formally refused.
He is due back in court on October 12.
