Police Search For Couple After Teen Stabbed In Sydney Carpark

Police are hunting a man and a woman after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed multiple times in Sydney's inner west.

Emergency services were called to a car park on Darling St in Balmain at about 6.50pm on Thursday.

The boy suffered stab wounds to his upper body and after being assessed at the scene, was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment.

Police believe a man and a woman, who are not known to the boy, may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man authorities are searching for is described as 182 centimetres tall with ginger hair, last seen wearing a red jacket.

There is no description of the woman at this time.
