Body Found In Search For Missing Mum In Remote Bushland

Police have called off a search for missing mother-of-two Felicity Shadbolt after a body was found in the remote Western Australian outback.

A member of the public made the discovery about 7pm on Wednesday about 500 metres from Tom Price Tourist Park.

The 36-year-old was last seen on Sunday after telling her family she was going for a run at Mount Nameless, about 10 kilometres from the Tom Price town centre.

The alarm was raised when Shadbolt, or 'Flik' as she was known to family and friends, did not return home.

Police officers, along with SES volunteers and the local Pony club, assisted in a ground and aerial search covering more than 70,000 hectares.

Soaring heat and thunderstorms forced crews to temporarily suspend the search on Monday.
