Man Charged After Dog Found Dead In Car
A man has been charged over the death of a dog, which was allegedly locked in a car on NSW's north coast earlier this week.
Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway in Coffs Harbour about 2pm on Wednesday after members of the public spotted the dead German Shepherd in a Holden ute.
Police allege the owner of the one-year-old dog left him locked in the ute for hours without any water while he attended a nearby licensed premises.
The 45-year-old Queensland man was charged with committing an act of aggravated animal cruelty and ordered to face Coffs Harbour Local Court on February 4, 2019.
