Indonesian authorities have found the cockpit voice recorder from a Lion Air plane more than two months after it crashed into the Java Sea. The recorder was found buried in about eight metres of mud in 30-metre-deep waters.

Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific has experienced a ticketing blunder for the second time in as many weeks. Cathay Pacific blamed an input issue on their website for the mistake, which saw first class fares from Hong Kong to Portugal sold for the price of an economy flight. Cathay is honouring the fares so some lucky customers will travel in luxury for a fraction of the cost.

The parents of a 15-year-old girl have been arrested in Argentina after they allowed their landlord to rape their daughter so they could avoid paying rent. The victim's 37-year-old mother and 65-year-old stepfather reportedly made the arrangement so they could live for free in the apartment. The teenager was also reportedly abused by her stepfather over a sustained period of time. The girl is currently in the care of social services and the girl's parents and the landlord are being investigated for a plethora of criminal charges.
