Suspicious Package Found At Adelaide Airport Deemed Safe
A suspicious package that was found at Adelaide Airport has been deemed safe.
Emergency services responded to an item located at a goods screening point in Terminal 1 just before 2pm on Thursday.
After initial assessment by the AFP Bomb Appraisal Officers, a small section of the terminal was cordoned off while it was assessed by the South Australia Police Bomb Response Team.
"The item has been assessed and deemed non-hazardous," the AFP later confirmed.
"The cordon has been lifted and there is no further disruption to the travelling public."
