Documents released by the FBI offer fresh evidence that Trump Campaign organisers colluded with Russia during the 2016 Presidential election. Trump campaign aide Carter Page has been linked to conspiring with the Russian government in the 412 pages made public by the FBI on Saturday. Page however, has denied any involvement with Russia and hasn't been charged with any crimes.
800 members of Syrian's White Helmet rescue group and their families have been evacuated from Syria to Jordan. The Israeli military was largely responsible for the move and they declared it a "humanitarian effort" due to an immediate threat on the White Helmet's lives after the U.S. and some European countries called for the evacuation. The White Helmets are responsible for saving thousands of lives during the eight-year civil war.
A suicide bomb attack has killed 11 people and injured 14 more at Kabul airport shortly after Afghan Vice-President Abdul Rashid Dostum returned from self-imposed exile. Dostum left for Turkey over a year ago after he was accused in playing a role in the kidnapping, rape and torture of a political rival. Dostum denies the allegations and says he was seeking medical treatment during his time in Turkey.
An 'exhausted' Pauline Hanson has withdrawn campaigning for the Queensland seat of Longman ahead of the by-election on Saturday. Hanson quietly withdrew about 10 days ago amid the pressure from the latest round of One Nation in-party disagreements. Malcolm Turnbull and Bill Shorten's campaigns have intensified however, ahead of what is expected to be a close vote for the already marginal seat.
A 46-year-old man had died after being shot inside an apartment in Sydney. Police were called to the Warwick Farm apartment at about 5.20pm on Sunday and the man was transferred to Liverpool hospital with a police escort where he later died. Police have established a crime scene and are interviewing a number of witnesses in their investigation.
A 58-year-old woman has been killed after being hit by her own car on Sydney's northwest. The woman was travelling with a 32-year-old who was driving the car when the driver pulled over near the Excelsior Road intersection in Castle Hill to search for something in the boot. The 58-year-old joined her in the search for the item. That's when the car rolled backwards, hitting both the women and the older of the two died at the scene. Police have established a crime scene in their investigation of the incident.
Disney has released the first look of the Kim Possible live-action film starring Sadie Stanley. At Comic-Con in San Diego executive producers Mark McCorkle and Bob Schooley revealed the first photo of the film. The movie is set to be released in 2019.
F1 driver Lewis Hamilton has raced his way from 14th position to number one at the German Grand Prix in Hockenheim. He's now retaken the lead from Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel who crashed out in the closing laps of the race, after leading from pole position. Vettel is now 17 points behind the Brit. Australian Daniel Ricciardo also did not finish.
