Two Men Arrested After Fatal Melbourne Stabbing

Two men have been detained by police.

Two men have been arrested over the stabbing murder of another man outside a milk bar in Melbourne's southeast.

The 23-year-old victim died from upper body wounds after an altercation at the Linden Place shops at Doveton about 9:20pm Thursday night.

On Friday, a 20-year-old and an 18-year-old were arrested at a local property and have been interviewed by local police.

No charges have yet been laid.

A milk bar worker who witnessed the shocking incident told Melbourne radio station 3AW the victim collapsed after being attacked.

“Only after I told him that he was bleeding, the adrenaline faded away or something then he realised and he collapsed,” the witness, named Igor, said.

The victim, a tradie, had reportedly been laughing and joking with friends moments before he was stabbed to death.
