Gucci's New Campaign Stars Jared Leto And Lana Del Rey And We're Going Back To The 70s
If time travel was possible, we'd like to head to LA in velvet flares, please.
You see, Gucci have just released their new fragrance campaign for Gucci Guilty, and it's a masterpiece of '70s fashion featuring two of our retro-loving favourites, Jared Leto and Lana Del Rey.
And we mean masterpiece. Think gloriously tacky hair salons, diners and flared velvet suits. Shot by uber fashionable UK photographer Glen Luchford and creative directed by Alessandro Michele, (who is the creative director of Gucci), the campaign features the two stars in "quintessential American places."

Not to mention Lana going full Priscilla Presley in bouffant hair and lime green pant suit.
Sublime green, we should say.
Just. Stop. It's Just Too Good.
And there is a lovely short little film too -- complete with a wonderful cameo by Courtney Love, a tiger (yes, a tiger) and, said Gucci, "featuring familiar American scenarios, filmed in Los Angeles." In it, the duo also head to a laundromat (with said tiger), go grocery shopping (with an ostrich), see a drive-in movie and picnic in the park. All things we'd gladly do with either of them.
About the characters, Gucci said "they play individuals who live and love outside of social conformism to embody the #GucciGuilty fragrances Gucci Guilty Pour Homme and Gucci Guilty Pour Femme."
The fragrance isn't new btw -- but after seeing this campaign you may want to become a convert. It retails from $104 online or instore.
