Meghan Markle Pairs Ridiculously Affordable ASOS Dress With Exxy Heels
She's officially the queen of high-low dressing.
While on the royal tour Down Under, Meghan Markle has opted for some jaw-dropping designer lewks -- that Oscar De La Renta down she wore in Tonga comes to mind -- as well as favouring home-grown Aussie designers like Scanlan and Theodore, Oroton and Martin Grant.
Each new day the Duchess has delivered more than one perfect albeit slightly pricey ensemble for us to lust after.
It was when the glowing mum-to-be stepped off the plane in Wellington, New Zealand on Sunday that we leapt to our feet in applause. Mrs Prince Harry had gone cheap, and we mean that in the best way possible.
The 37-year-old was sporting a simple yet classy maternity dress from everyone's go-to online retailer, ASOS.
Plus, it costs a breezy $76!
The black Wiggle Midi Dress is currently available and yes, you can make it yours. But for goodness sake be quick 'cause like everything the Duchess touches this baby is going to sell the heck out and fast.
Non-expecting ladies are also in luck, as the retailer offers the same 'wiggle' style in a non-maternity version that comes in other colours and prints.
Megs paired her cheap chain store find with a $975 plaid trench by Karen Walker -- a Kiwi designer -- and a pair of $500 black pumps from her fave US brand, Sarah Flint.
To be honest, regardless of the price tags the whole outfit looks a million bucks, which just proves how well Meghan (and her team) can expertly mix and match high and low fashion pieces.
We bow down to a high/low farshun queen.
So even though both the Duke and Duchess have officially bid farewell to Australia -- for this royal tour, anyway -- we can still look forward to a few more outstanding outfits. And hopefully they involve a few more affordable ASOS-esque elements.
