This Light-Up Hair Look Is Truly Lit
And by lit, we mean lit up.
There is lit. And there is LIT.
And at designer Nicholas Kirkwood's spring 2019 show for London Fashion Week, things got LIT well and truly. Hair guru Sam McKnight (who was Princess Diana’s hairstylist) went to town on his models and created a futuristic feel that literally lit up as they walked the runway.
The super stylist created hair styles that used different lengths of light-up plastic laces and neon wire in different colours to create what he called a “cyber ravers” style.
He looped the laces horizontally around the models' plaits, and they glowed -- emitting a phosphorescent light as they walked the runway.
Also on the runway were model Winnie Harlow and surprise guest Rose McGowan -- the former Charmed actress and activist walked barefoot for the show called “Hacking and Activism”.
