Forget RiRi's Vogue Brows, Here's How To Get Her Glossy Lip

It's all about the pout.

There's no doubt that Rihanna absolutely killed it on the cover of British Vogue's September issue. From the floral headpiece to the neon orange Prada gloves -- and a lacy bodysuit from her own label, Savage x Fenty -- RiRi ~slayed~ but like, what did we expect?

It was the "Work" singer's pencil-thin eyebrows however that, well ... raised eyebrows, and had many wondering/freaking the heck out that the drawn-on trend was making a comeback.

In our very humble opinion, unless you are in fact Rihanna herself we don't see Édith Piaf-esque brows going mainstream anytime soon. We're only just recovering from over-plucking in the '90s for goodness sake.

Regardless, the tricky thin brow didn't deter fans like Twitter user and makeup artist Jay Thomas from recreating RiRi's now-iconic look, and bravo sis, you've nailed it.

Speaking of duping Rihanna's look, we quizzed makeup artist Annaleise Smith from the Channel TEN styling team on how to achieve the superstar's glossy deep red lip, and it's not a crazy-hard as you might think. Plus, you only need three products. Score.

Start with a red lipstick like M.A.C in Russian Red and apply it to the centre of the lips only.

Next, use deep plum stain -- Smith likes Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Notte -- to outline the lips. Her tip? "Take your time to get the outline sharp!"

Then fill in the rest of the lip but avoid the red lipstick you applied in the center.

Now go in with a high gloss product like Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in Shameless. Pat the gloss on top of the stain to blend them together and add lots of shine.

And mwah, you're done.

Here's your product shopping list:

M.A.C Matte Lipstick in Russian Red, $36.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Notte, $32.

Huda Beauty Lip Strobe in Shameless, $34.
