Get In Formation, Bey-cause A Beyonce Clothing Range Is Coming
Hear that? It's the beyhive a-buzzing.
Queen B has teamed up with luxury fashion brand Balmain to bless the world with a capsule clothing range, because there's literally nothing she can't do.
The upcoming collaboration will include hoodies and t-shirts based on the devastatingly perfect custom-made Balmain pieces Bey rocked during her iconic Coachella -- or Beychella as it was known thereafter -- gigs in April 2018.
The three-piece Beyoncé x Balmain collection will include the iconic yellow and pink sweatshirts Bey wore on stage at 'Chella, along with a black tee in a similar sorority-inspired style.
Balmain's head designer, Olivier Rousteing, has been tight with Beyoncé since way back -- like Kim K, RiRi and J-Lo, Bey is a longtime member of the #BalmainArmy -- and he told Vogue just how pumped he was to reunite with her on the upcoming range.
“I worked really long with her on the Beychella moments, and the fact that we can release this collaboration that is based on our creativity, Beyoncé and I, is really a big, big step for fashion and music together,” he said.
"This is something important and this collaboration is talking to the new generation and saying you can get that piece, you can be a part of the history."
But the good news doesn't stop there. Buying yourself some new merch will also mean that UNCF -- the United Negro College Fund -- will receive a portion of the proceeds. It's a cause that's close to Beyoncé’s heart -- she donated $100,000 to four historically black colleges after her Beychella set.
The limited edition collection drops at Balmain's flagship store in Paris on July 13, then -- wait for it -- globally online on both the brand's site and beyonce.com, which means Aussie 'Yonce fans can get amongst it. YASS.
Be quick though, as this dream range is sure to fly out the door.
