And how to make it work for you.
What you need to know
- Margot Robbie was born in Dalby, Queensland and grew up on the Gold Coast.

- The actress, 27, secretly married her spouse Tom Ackerley in 2016.
- Her next film role will see her play Sharon Tate -- the murdered, pregnant wife of Roman Polanski.
Actress Margot Robbie is quite possibly the most beautiful woman on the planet and we're delighted to have an excuse to share yet another pic of her bewilderingly perfect features. You see, Margot has finally confirmed that she will star in Quentin Tarantino's controversial flick based on the Charles Manson murders. Robbie will play Sharon Tate, the real-life wife of Roman Polanski.
The 27-year-old Australian does bear a slight resemblance to Sharon. There's the hair of course ... otherwise? Anyway, we're not really here to talk about that but about the clever eye makeup trick that makes Margot's emerald green eyes look so damn incredible.
At the premiere of her new film Terminal on Tuesday May 8 Margot opted for an elegant up-do with a few loose curls framing her face. Her makeup was natural and fresh with a light, dewy-looking foundation and just a hint of rose to the cheeks. But her eyes though ...
Her eyes were where all the magic happened. And if you look very closely you'll see why.
Margot's eyelids were smokey with a rich, darkest of dark grey eye shadows applied to the lid and into the crease of the eye. The inner corners of her eyes were highlighted by a metallic silver shimmer but it was this last secret product that pulled the entire look together,
Along the upper lash line there was a sharp line of rich navy blue Kohl. It's difficult to see but if you look very closely there it is and it is the one tiny detail that made everything work.
It might sound counter-intuitive, especially given it's so subtle, but a pop of blue such as this one will lift the colours in the iris of your eye and make them seem bigger, sexier and slightly more almond-shaped.
There are plenty of eye products out there to try but we have a couple of favourites we'd like you to meet. Cult beauty brand NARS offers several Kohl liners and eye shadows in cool metallic tones.
We're especially keen on the brand's Velvet Eyeliner in Curacao, $35. For that silvery, shimmer pop to the inner corner of the eye, try MECCA Max Interstellar Eyeshadow in Moonshine, $22.
If you prefer to keep all your shades in the one handy palette, you'll love this By Terry Eye Designer Palette Parti Pris, $80. The pigment is rich, meaning the shadows go on easy and have genuine staying power.
