The Adorable Moment Meghan Markle Spots An Old Friend During A Public Walkabout
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's current royal tour seems to be filled with so many pinch-me moments for fans that it's hard to pick just one favourite, but we think we may have found a winner.
On Tuesday, while completing a public walk through the streets of Auckland, Meghan got the shock of her life when she spotted an old friend standing in the crowd of people waiting to meet them.
The former TV actress had spotted the face of Hannah Sergel among the thousands and quickly rushed over to say hello.
In video uploaded to Sergel's Twitter account, you can hear the 20-year-old shout-out to the Duchess that it's "Hannah, from Instagram". It takes Meghan barely a second to clock-on and she immediately reacts saying "oh my God", before rushing over to see her fan.
According to Sergel, she used to follow Meghan on Instagram before the royal famously deactivated all her accounts.
“I was friends with her on Instagram before she had to deactivate her account. We used to have conversations and stuff on there," Sergel told 1 NEWS.
"She would tell me to do well at university and encourage me to be myself.”

As for her brief catch-up, Sergel said Meghan was just as polite, and even thanked her for "getting in touch".
As if that wasn't exciting enough, Sergel later took to Twitter to say that New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, who was accompanying the royal couple during the walk, DM'd her to pass on a photo which showed the moment Meghan recognised her.
Sergel later thanked her followers for "making the day so special".
Meghan and Harry will wrap up their 16-day royal tour today and fly back home to England, where mother-to-be Megz can have a much-needed rest.
