The Countdown Is On Until Harry And Meghan Arrive... And They're Excited!

There's still time to get tickets.

It's just days away from the start of the Invictus Games  -- which begin on October 20 in Sydney -- and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are getting almost as excited as we are.

The pair have featured in a new photo, posted on the Invictus Games social media platforms, holding a flag and smiling for the camera.  Prince Harry is of course the Patron of the Games and is heavily involved in the foundation.

London hosted the inaugural Invictus Games, an international sporting event for wounded, injured and sick service personnel after Harry visited the Warrior Games, a competition for wounded servicemen organised by the U.S. Department of Defense, and was so inspired by the organisation that he "stole" (his words) the idea  and Harry has been involved every year since.

Sydney's games look set to be a huge event,  and there are still tickets available. You just never know who you will see there....

The Duke and Duchess will at least attend the games' opening and closing ceremonies, the cycling time trials in the Royal Botanic Gardens, the basketball final and the sailing at Farm Cove.

"The Duke and Duchess are excited to see Sydney fully embrace the Invictus spirit and support the competitors across a range of sports at some of the city's most iconic venues," Harry and Meghan's private secretary Sam Cohen said.

"This year's games will emphasise the integral role played by servicemen and women and their families and friends and the royal highnesses will spend time with a number of the competitors' supporters as they cheer them on from the sidelines."

Get those tickets now people, and get as excited as they are!
