Prince Harry Reveals He's A Bit Scared Of The Queen And Same
Haz panics when he bumps into Her Maj in the palace corridors.
Grandparents can be a bit scary at the best of times, but imagine if your gran was the Queen of England?
That's the reality for Prince Harry, and the cheeky royal has given us a little glimpse at what life is like being the grandson to the world's oldest and longest-reigning current monarch, and a downright sassy one at that.
Turns out, 34-year-old Haz gets a wee bit flustered when he unexpectedly crosses paths with Her Majesty in the palace. Er, same!
In a just-released teaser for the brand-new documentary, Queen of the World, a smiling Harry jokingly shares his fears with a group of what appears to be hospitality professionals.
"If you suddenly bump into her in the corridor, don’t panic. I know you will. We all do!” were the Prince's wise words.
That's not the only gem the two-part ITV-produced doco hints at revealing. Viewers will get access to “behind-the-scenes moments with the Sovereign and other members of the Royal Family,” according to a statement from ITV.
In the 40 second teaser we also get a glimpse of Meghan Markle admiring her Givenchy wedding dress ahead of her May 19 nuptials.
Word is that Harry's new bride takes part in “a conversation, a stand-up chat” in the TV special. If that's true, it'll be her very first on-camera interview since becoming the Duchess of Sussex.
What a treat!
The Queen’s daughter Princess Anne along with Sophie, Countess of Wessex -- the wife of Prince Edward, the Queen's youngest son -- have reportedly given formal 'sit down' interviews for the documentary.
Queen of the World airs in the UK on September 25, then later in the US on October 1, and yes, it's set to come to Australia soon after that so stay tuned.
