Bali Bachelorette Cat's Insider Guide To Her Island Home
Where she likes to eat, drink and party.
Keen viewers of this season of The Bachelor might be aware that a certain bachelorette, Cat, isn't like the other women after the Honey Badger's heart.
She lives in Bali.
You may not have noticed actually.
So who better to take us on a tour of this Indonesian island hot-spot than Cat-from-Bali herself?
After all, the Brisbane-born jewellery designer has called Bali home for about two and a half years.
"There's a pretty good vibe over there," Cat told ten daily.
Everyone's pretty cruisey and friendly. It's simple living and it's been an awesome few years."
Cat kicked off our tour in Canggu, North Kuta, which has a "really cool, young crowd." Her top places to grab a nice bite there include Fishbone Local, One Eyed Jack and Two Fingers.
Staying in Canguu, Cat's fave day club is the glam Mrs Sippy, and she loves The Lawn for a chilled weekend session.
Milk and Madu cafe with its Insta-worthy menu of juices, pancakes and the 'Madu bowls' are her pick for brunch.
In terms of beaches, Cat's go-to spots are further south, past busy, crowded Kuta.
In fact, steering clear of Kuta altogether is her top tip for for avoiding the rowdy Aussie tourist crowd.
"Uluwatu, Padang Padang and Dreamland Beach all have beautiful white sand and crystal clear water, and Nusa Dua is also really beautiful," she said.
For some retail therapy, Cat recommends the whole main strip through Canggu, and Seminyak for some really great boutiques.
"There are so many incredible shops over there, and so many talented young designers."
Cat also had some handy packing pointers for first-time Bali visitors, calling out sunscreen, tanning lotion, as well as loads of bikinis and skimpy clothing as essential.
"It's really hot and you're sweating up a storm 24/7!"
The Bachelor Australia airs 7.30 Wednesday and Thursdays on TEN and tenplay
