Seeya Duck Face: The Baby Giraffe Is The New Go-To Insta Pose

It'll make your legs look so looooooong.

There was a time but a few short years ago when you simply could not scroll through Instagram without seeing a veritable sea of duck face selfies. What a time to be alive, eh?

The iconic combo of puckered lips and pinched-in cheeks was de rigour until, like most trends before it, duck face simply reached saturation point and all but disappeared.

Now there's a new Insta-worthy pose ready to take duck face's place, and it's got an equally as quirky animal name to boot.

Meet the baby giraffe pose.

The cute term was coined by Insta It-girl Eva Chen in a casual convo with her uber-trendy pals, fashion designer Prabal Gurung, "Bag Snob" founder Tina Craig, and style blogger Bryanboy.

The trio were stunned at how long the diminutive Chen's pins looked in a pic she shared, so she spilled her leg-lengthening secret: the baby giraffe.

Pulling off the baby giraffe is simple, as Chen explained: "I stick my bum out and tilt one leg forward and the other leg back. Like I'm a baby giraffe walking."

If you get stuck, just picture a gangly-legged little giraffe. Cute AF.

As the director of fashion partnerships at Instagram, if there's anyone who should know what's hot and what's not on the 'Gram, it's Chen.

And a quick scroll through the pages of our fave A-listers proves that the baby giraffe is so hot right now.
