The Queen's Granddaughter Zara Tindall Welcomes Baby Girl
The royal bub is already breaking records.
It's a bouncing baby girl for the Queen's granddaughter Zara Tindall and her former rugby player hubby Mike, Buckingham Palace have confirmed.
Zara, 37, gave birth to the couple's second daughter on June 18. Mike, 39, was by his wife's side for the delivery at Stroud Maternity Unit in Gloucestershire.
The as-yet-unnamed bundle of joy is a little sister for four-year-old Mia Grace.
The Queen, Prince Philip and other key members of the royal family, including Zara's mother Princess Anne, have been informed and are reportedly "delighted" with the happy news.
The baby girl is the fourth grandchild for Princess Anne and the seventh great-grandchild for the Queen.
That's not all -- the gorgeous newborn is already breaking royal records but not in the way you'd think. She weighed in at 9lbs 3oz -- about 4.1 kilograms -- making her the heaviest royal baby in more than 100 years.
Zara, an equestrian champion, revealed her pregnancy in January this year after suffering a miscarriage in late 2016, just weeks after announcing that she was expecting.
Congratulations to the happy family at this special time. Now all that's left to do is wait for a glimpse of the cute bub -- and word on her name, of course.
