A Glowing Pippa Middleton Confirms What We Already Knew
Britain's worst-kept secret is finally out.
Pippa Middleton has confirmed that she and hubby James Matthews are expecting their first child in a guest column for a UK magazine on June 7.
But wait -- didn't we know this already?
Well not officially.
Despite being seen out and about over the last few months with a burgeoning baby bump Pippa, 34, and James have stayed mum about the whole thing. Until now.
In the piece 'Exercising during pregnancy' for Waitrose Weekend -- a magazine published by the British supermarket chain of the same name -- Pippa opens up about her experience expecting bub number one.
The sporty socialite-turned-author spills on how her fitness regime has changed since she conceived. It's believed that she's about three months along which puts her at the tail end of her first trimester. Exciting times.
She tells the magazine, "I've noticed my body change but through exercise I feel it's being strengthened."
Kate Middleton's younger sister goes on to discuss whether or not exercising while pregnant is safe, and includes some personal recommendations from her own routine. On the workout menu for the expecting mama? Lunges, squats and reverse flyes.
Pippa and 42-year-old James, a former professional racing driver, haven't let their impending bundle of joy limit their social calendar one bit. We assume that means that unlike the Duchess of Cambridge -- who suffered a severe form of morning sickness called Hyperemesis Gravidarum -- Pippa's pregnancy has been smooth sailing.
The couple -- who married in May 2017 -- were spotted hand-in-hand at the French Open in May and most noticeably at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding. But now we know the real reason behind the pair's beaming smiles!
The mum-to-be wore a divine pale green dress by Fold -- paired with Jimmy Choo heels and clutch -- to the nuptials of the year on May 19. The fresh summer frock was fitted about the waist revealing just a hint of a bump. At one point Pippa even appeared to cradle her belly.
Safe to say that Pippa and James' big news is one of the worst-kept secrets in Britain -- if not the world. But that doesn't take away from the couple's special time. And we know Pippa's in safe hands with big sis Kate -- who is mum to three -- when it comes to asking for advice.
The mini-Middleton is expected to arrive in early 2019 and we are so excited to see all the cute pics. Until then we'll satisfy ourselves with watching Pippa take maternity life in her stride.
