Why We Wish Princess Charlotte Would Invite Us To Her Big Birthday
It sounds like a fabulous party.
Princess Charlotte is sure to be spoiled when she turns three on May 2, and we think she deserves every single treat. Charlotte has been busy playing big sister to new baby brother Louis who came into the world on April 23. But now it’s time for Charlotte, Will and Kate’s middle child and only daughter, to take the spotlight.
While the details of Charlotte’s upcoming birthday celebrations aren’t yet known, in previous years the Duke and Duchess have kept things low-key. Charlotte’s first and second birthdays were a casual affair spent with close family members at Will and Kate’s country home, Amner Hall in Norfolk.
Kate played photographer on both occasions, capturing gorgeous candid snaps of her little girl’s special day. On her first birthday Charlotte was pictured in a sweet pink dress and matching cardigan pushing a toy trolley across a lawn. When she turned two the princess looked very grown up in a yellow cardigan with a royal blue bow in her shoulder-length hair. We can’t wait to see what snap-happy mum Kate captures at this year’s special day.
Guests at Charlotte’s party will most likely include Kate's side of the family such as her parents Carole and Michael Middleton and her brother James Middleton. Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton, who is pregnant with her first child with husband James Matthews, may also make an appearance. Other party guests might include Charlotte's royal cousins Mia, four, daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, and Peter and Autumn Phillips’ girls Savannah, seven, and Isla, six.
Both big brother George, four, and Charlotte will soon be getting ready for their uncle Harry’s wedding to Meghan Markle. The adorable siblings are rumoured to have been assigned the roles of pageboy and flower girl. The cuteness is almost too much to imagine.
