I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here Renewed For Sixth Season In 2020

The series has been renewed ahead of the fifth season’s final week.

There were cheers heard around the jungle when, on Thursday, news reached South Africa that I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has been renewed for a sixth season, coming back to screens next year.

“The whole I'm A Celebrity production team is thrilled about our recommission for 2020,” Executive Producer Stephen Tate told 10 daily. “It's especially wonderful news for our South African production partners and the hundreds of local people we employ.”

Our current cast of celebs are gearing up to see who’ll take out the title of King or Queen of the jungle, joining the ranks of past winners like Freddie Flintoff, Brendan Fevola, Casey Donovan and Fiona O’Loughlin.

“This is the earliest we have ever been renewed and it’s a testament to this hugely successful series,” Tate added.

While our intrepid hosts are heading straight out of the jungle and into Aussie living rooms with their upcoming series Chris & Julia’s Sunday Night Takeaway, they’ll no doubt already be cooking up some terrible treats for future campmates.

We can’t wait to see what terrifying trials Dr Chris Brown and Lady Julia Morris have in store for another cast of celebs who will no doubt be tempted to scream I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs Sunday to Thursday at 7.30 on 10 and 10 Play. I’m A Celebrity Saturday Schoolies airs Saturdays at 7 on 10 and 10 Play.
