I'm A Celebrity 2019: Shane Crawford Faces The Series' Most Terrifying Trial Yet

Shane Crawford was put to the test when he went up against one of the toughest tucker trials in ‘I’m A Celeb’ history.

Calling it the scariest thing he had ever done in his life, Shane was nominated by his best frenemy in camp Dermott Brereton after the Derminator was sent packing on Tuesday.

Unfortunately for Shane, he had been given one of the most difficult, scariest trials to-date, and that’s saying something.

Locked in a cage and lowered down into a pitch-black pit Shane had to find a series of stars hidden around him. Oh yeah, and he was going to be almost completely submerged in water. Easy as.

AND, we also forgot that before leaving the camp, Dermott cut a few holes into Shane’s t-shirt, making a little face in the front. So while Dr Chris Brown explained that the trial was “no joke”, Shane looked like this:

Still, the Dr. continued, explaining that nothing like the latest trial, Last Gasp, had ever been done on I’m A Celebrity. With only nine minutes to open four chambers, Shane had to attempt to get nine stars.

And Shane wasn’t the only one freaking out.

Still, the AFL legend managed to score a decent six stars, which is incredible considering how difficult the trial turned out to be. We would have been saying ‘get me out of here’ before we even got into the cage.

“I was saying ‘get me out of here’ but I was under the water, they couldn’t hear me!” Shane joked back at camp.

Truly terrifying stuff.
