The First Trailer For ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Season 6 Is Finally Here

NOICE.

It's just over one month until the highly-anticipated sixth season of Brooklyn Nine-Nine debuts, and judging by the first trailer, we're in for one helluva ride!

In an action-packed scene, Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) gets to finally live out his Die Hard fantasy -- sort of.

In a wild scene he pitches to his colleagues, the detective, along with Amy Santiago, Rosa Diaz, and Terry Jeffords, are stranded on the roof of a building which is about to explode.

As three of the lapel down to safety, Jake dramatically leaps from the building in slow-mo as it explodes, gripping onto a passing helicopter as his team watch on in amazement, while detective Holt declares, "Jake is the finest cop in the city -- nay, the world."

The new season follows on from season five's events, where we saw the wedding between Jake and Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) almost called off after a bomb threat.

The series was briefly faced an uncertain future after it was cancelled by Fox, however, after passionate fans rallied behind the show NBC picked it up for another season just one day later.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine returns for Season 6 on Thursday, January 10 in the US.

We can't wait!
