Originally created as a spin-off of their docu-series 16 and Pregnant, the show follows the lives of teen mothers as they struggle with all the drama of being a teenager while also trying to raise a child.

The series has been one of MTV's most controversial shows over the years, as cast members have struggled with addiction, violent and abusive relationships, mental health issues and more as the cameras have continued to roll. It has also been credited with a decline in teen pregnancies in the years since the show has been on the air, though.

Teen Mom Australia -- no, we don't know why it's not Mum -- is set to debut in 2019, and will be a 10-part series that'll air on Foxtel. MTV is casting the show now.
