Scott Tweedie Addresses Rumours That He's The Next 'Bachelor'

This morning the rumour mill went into overdrive that The Loop's Scott Tweedie would be our next 'Bachelor.'

Following The Bachelor wrapping up for another year following Nick 'Honey Badger' Cummins' wild season, whispers have now begun that producers have kicked off the search for next season's leading man.

And according to a report by Confidential, that man is The Loop host and Network 10's own Scott Tweedie.

According to the publication, "When they found out that Scott was single, they were straight to him with an offer to be the next Bachelor," they said, referring his recent split with partner of five years, model Georgia Berg.

The source continued, "Scott is already comfortable in front of the camera, he is very different to the recent guys who have been on the show."

Well, this morning Scott decided to ring into Studio 10 and speak out about the rumours once and for all.

"I picked the worst day for an annual leave day! I'm stuck on the Gold coast about to jump on the helicopter with none other than Matty J," he told them, adding, "We're doing a morning of hot air ballooning and checking out the super yachts," he added before the hosts cut him off with, "But is it true?"

"I know all fingers are pointing to it -- I am single, I am looking for love... Hold on I'm about to get on a chopper," he said before getting cut off.

The Studio 10 hosts then speculated that the 30-year-old was attending Bachelor boot camp, seeing as he's hanging with Bach alum Matty J.
