Season 10? 'Scrubs' Cast Tease Reboot Series

The cast of the iconic medical comedy got together for a reunion over the weekend.

Zach Braff excited Scrubs fans with a photo of the cast -- including Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke and Judy Reyes -- alongside the caption, "Season 10?"

But don't get your hopes up too high, because it seems Braff was playing a cruel joke on us, and JD, Turk, Elliot and Carla will not be back on our screens any time soon.

Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence spoke at Vulture Festival over the weekend and told the Hollywood Reporter a reboot doesn't seem likely.

“I would do anything to get to work with not only this group [but the entire crew]… it was the best time in my life,” he said. But “sometimes reboots -- not all the time -- feel like a money grab.”

So we guess this means Scrubs will be one of the few shows that won't receive the reboot treatment just yet -- unlike Roseanne, Fuller House, Charmed, Will & Grace and even Murphy Brown.

Lawrence added that if Scrubs was to be revisited, it would be a one-off special and not an entire series.

“If we ever do it, we’ll do it as a short little movie or something else,” he said.

“I think the problem from me is I would just want to see where everyone is. I would want to see where their marriages are [as opposed to a huge event].”
