Sunday Night Takeaway Coming To Ten In 2019
Julia Morris and Chris Brown will be co-hosting the show launching next year.
Your favourite co-hosts with the co-most, Julia Morris and Chris Brown are stepping up to host a brand new take on the UK format Saturday Night Takeaway.
Chris & Julia's Sunday Night Takeaway will be a massive live variety series featuring games, challenges, celebrity guests and tons of laughs. Audience members will be picked at random to compete in challenges, celebs will be pranked, and viewers at home might even get surprise live visits. Anything's possible.
The format is based off the popular UK series Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway which was created by the hosting duo of Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. It's been on-air since 2002 with local formats being made in 10 other countries including the US where it was hosted by Neil Patrick Harris.
With such a massive show full of fun, there's no other duo that we can imagine more perfect to step into the hosting duties.
"I absolutely love Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway," Julia said adding, "[I] can’t believe my luck that I get to stand alongside my beloved Docteur and host our very own local version of the show."
"Takeaway is the ultimate combination of hilarious, exciting, heartwarming and completely nuts. The Docteur and I are a natural fit!"
Meanwhile The Docteur himself said, "This is such an exciting and dynamic show to be a part of. But best of all, it’s got a massive heart that will deliver such a huge hit of warmth into Australian lounge rooms. Just like Takeaway should."
"Julia and I have forged such a delightfully unique and fun friendship in our jungle treehouse so the thought of bringing that to an Australian studio that isn’t a major lightning hazard is incredibly exciting."
In case you forgot just how iconic their Celeb antics were, a collab of their amazing intros into the show went viral AGAIN.
Monday blues will be a thing of the past when settling into Chris & Julia's Sunday Night Takeaway coming to TEN and WIN Network in 2019.
