Add Veronica Mars To The List Of Shows Getting Rebooted

I'll be sittin' on my couch, chillin' like a villain...

Joining Charmed, Buffy, Will & Grace, Roseanne, Queer Eye, The Hills, Jersey ShoreTwin Peaks, Sabrina and Gilmore Girls in the ever-expanding list of shows getting the reboot treatment, Veronica Mars looks like it may be returning to the small screen.

Lol, remember when there were new shows on television? It's like that scene in Scream 4 where Kirby lists all the horror remakes.

ANYWAY, according to reports from Entertainment Weekly, Kirsten Bell and the show's creator, Rob Thomas (not the one from Matchbox Twenty), are in talks with Hulu and Warner Bros. to revive the show.

While deets haven't been finalised yet, it will likely be an eight-episode limited series due to Kristen's schedule and commitment to NBC's The Good Place.

Of course, it's not the first time the show has been revived. Back in 2013, the Rob and the show's crew began a Kickstarter to fund a Veronica Mars movie. With an initial goal of reaching USD$2 million, they ended up raising $5.7 million and the film went on to be released in 2014.

Reboot shade aside, Veronica Mars is great so this will surely be a gift to Marshmallows everywhere. Almost as good as a pony.
