The Hills Cast Announce Reboot At 2018 VMAs

The Hills are alive with the sound of reboots!

During the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards the network announced the the latest in an exhausting list of reboots: The Hills is coming back!

Now titled The Hills: New Beginnings, the reboot will see a chunk of the original cast returning alongside a few new additions, like their kids, new friends, new frenemies. You know, all the good stuff.

Heidi and Spencer Pratt, Audrina Patridge, Jason Wahler, Justin Bobby, Stephanie Pratt and Frankie Delgado all got together on the red carpet during the show before a short teaser was played.

If you can't watch the teaser right now, don't stress -- it basically just features a few shots of the hills (the hills!!!) before Stephanie says, "It's like we're all growing up... it's weird."

While MTV's release didn't officially reveal who would be re-joining the cast, it looked like a few familiar faces weren't returning, with some fans not too pleased about the omissions.

Actually, Lo said on her podcast, Lady Lovin', that when she was approached by a TV exec she said, "Fuck no! I don't want any association with those people". She also called the show "ancient history at this point," so probably don't expect to see her making a cameo any time soon.

Still it looks like the series will have a few surprises in store for us, with US Weekly reporting that a celebrity has been added to the cast.

MTV have been going hard on the reboots after they also recently announced a return for most of the Jersey Shore gang.
