Popaholics Rejoice! The Preview For Dr. Pimple Popper's TV Show Is Here

Isn’t zit exciting!

She's amassed a huge following thanks to her totally-gross-but-strangely-satisfying pimple popping vids, and now world-famous dermatologist Dr. Sandra Lee -- better known as Dr. Pimple Popper -- is getting her very own show on TLC.

With the series set to pop off on July 11 in the US, TLC today dropped a sneak peek at what we’re in for –- and let us warn you, it’s a DOOZY.

In a preview shared with Entertainment Weekly, we meet Tyler, who is looking for help in removing two rather large cysts protruding from his forehead.

While the bumps are a health concern, Tyler says, "The biggest reason I'm here is to get my face back."

EW spoke to Lee, who revealed that the six-part series will focus on the lives of the patients, as opposed to the actual act of squeezing the shiz out of pimples as her YouTube showcases.

"This is different than my YouTube channel. In the series, we follow the patients. I don’t really see this in my practice, I don’t really see how a bump on someone really affects his or her life,” she said.

“So it’s really nice to see this go full circle. Even though to some people, it might be considered kind of gruesome or gross, it’s actually a really happy thing, a feel-good thing. It is an amazing process. I’m kind of freaked out, though, because…I mean, this is crazy to me. It’s pimple popping!”

And while the show will focus less on the direct extractions of cysts, lymphomas and zits (oh my!), Lee assured fans that popaholics will still get their fix.

“I realised there was this community of people that loved watching popping videos,” she said.  “I brought it out of the closet. It really relaxes people and calms them and makes them feel good and happy. It’s their bedtime story. Within three years, here we are. It’s crazy!”
