Lady Gaga Shares Emotional Post After BAFTAS Win

Lady Gaga has racked up another awards season win for "Shallow".

But because the Grammy Awards are on tonight in Los Angeles, the singer couldn't collect the BAFTAS trophy herself.

A Star Is Born was announced as the winner of Best Original Music at the British Film Academy Awards.

Gaga's co-star and the film's director -- Bradley Cooper -- accepted the award onstage and declared that music was "the heartbeat of the film".

Lady Gaga -- who co-wrote the film's main track "Shallow" with producer Mark Ronson -- reacted to the win on Twitter.

Posting a photo of herself snuggled up on a couch wearing a David Bowie t-shirt, Gaga wrote about how significant the win was.

"I can't believe we just won Best Original Music @BAFTAS," she wrote. "I wish so much I was there but am at the Grammys to show them our love as well. We made a film about music. This means the world to me.

"Thank u to all our fans we love you so much, we wouldn't be here without u," the singer wrote.

Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are up for Record of The Year at the Grammys for "Shallow" and will also perform the epic hit at the Academy Awards.
