How Do You Say 'Blink 182'? The New Debate Tearing The Internet Apart

A debate so intense, if you blink you might miss it.

Yes, it's the debate that's dividing the internet and possibly hurtling us towards a new World War: How exactly do you pronounce 'Blink 182'?

We know what you're thinking, "Hey! This is a dumb debate," and we couldn't agree more! But apparently, this is a thing!!!

It all started when one of the head writers of The Late Late Show with James Corden tweeted out:

Obviously, his boss must have mentioned something about Blink One Eight Two, and the American began to scratch his head because -- he apparently calls them Blink One Eighty-Two.

Karmel's boss even weighed in, and the Late Late Show host was ready to admit he was wrong -- so long as Karmel knew he was ALSO wrong.

Before we get too lost, the history of the band's name starts with them calling themselves "Blink", with no divisive numbers whatsoever. Unfortunately, there was also an Irish band already called Blink who threatened to sue the other Blink, so they added the "random" number.

The debate raged on, with no signs of slowing.

It even crossed languages and people revealed the variances between what they say in English versus other tongues.

Also, this begs the question: how often are people talking about Blink-182? Apparently enough to think about this so thoroughly.

The worst part? The members of the band were absolutely NO help.

So let us know which side of this incredibly important debate you're on, or we may never get a good night's sleep again.
