Red Hot Chili Peppers Set To Tour Australia For The First Time In 12 Years

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have announced they'll be touring Australia and New Zealand in 2019.

Aussie fans of the iconic Californian band have been waiting 12 long years for a proper headline tour.

“We can’t wait to see all our fans in Australia and New Zealand -- it has been too long,” the band said in a statement.

The Chilis will play shows right around the country -- including Sydney, the Hunter Valley, Brisbane, Melbourne, Geelong, Perth and Adelaide.

And for the first time ever, the "Scar Tissue" rockers will be playing a show in Hobart.

“The fact that we get to play in Tassie for the first time makes this tour even more special," the band said.
