Troye Sivan, Vera Blue, Snow Patrol And More To Support 'Musicians Making A Difference' Day

Get behind  #MusiciansMakingADifference Day on December 7 to support a great cause!

With Universal Music Australia set to partner with Musicians Making a Difference (MMAD) for its fourth year, artists like Troye Sivan, Snow Patrol, Thundamentals, Vera Blue and more will be sharing how music changed their lives in preparation for #MusiciansMakingADifference Day on December 7.

In case you didn't know, MMAD is an Aussie charity that helps young people to overcome adversity through music and dance, expression and mentoring -- with their ultimate goal being to break negative cycles and overcome challenges.

Along with world-famous musos, the project will also see ten young people collaborating to create a song and music vid to inspire others to speak out about any struggles they may be facing, set to be launched on MMAD day.

“Imagine a world and our own lives -- our formative years, our trying times and our happiest moments -- without music," Dominic Brook, Co-founder of MMAD said.

"This day is all about celebrating the power of music in making a difference in the world and acknowledging the artists who’s music has impacted our own lives. At MMAD, we witness the power of music every day. But on MMAD Day we encourage everyone to celebrate its power, and those songs & artists that helped shape who we are today."

To celebrate the power of music on MMAD, be sure to tag an artist or share a song that has had an impact on your life, along with the hashtag #MusiciansMakingADifference.

MMAD Day is happening on December 7. For more details, head to the MMAD Day website
