The Rap God Is Coming Down Under: Eminem Just Announced An Australian Tour

Mark it in your calendars, Marshall Mathers will be heading down under next year.

The Detroit rapper will be bringing his Rapture 2019 tour to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth next February.

It's been nearly five years since Eminem visited Australia, when he toured the country with Kendrick Lamar, J Cole and Action Bronson.

Eminem unveiled a surprise album -- Kamikaze -- in August this year which includes a track featured on the Venom soundtrack.

The album took aim at the rap and hip-hop industry in its current state, pretty much every current rap artist (but especially Machine Gun Kelly), music critics, Trump, his fans and the criticism of his prior album, Revival.

Revival was released late last year, with less than 9 months in between it and Kamikaze.

On the whole, fans have been more receptive to the surprise Kamikaze project, with some labeling it his best work since his 2002 album The Eminem Show.

Tickets for Rapture 2019 go on sale next Monday 22 between 1pm-4pm, depending on your city.
