There's A 'Breaking Bad' Movie In The Works And Everyone Is Losing Their Sh*t

The show's finale may have aired back in 2013, but it looks like 'Breaking Bad' may live on in the form of a film lead by series creator Vince Gilligan.

After word spread that there was apparently a Breaking Bad movie in the works, the entire internet went into absolute meltdown.

While details are vague RN, according to the Albuquerque Journal, the movie -- called Greenbrier -- will begin production in mid-November through to early February, and "tracks the escape of a kidnapped man and his quest for freedom".

“We are happy to welcome ‘Greenbrier’ and Sony Studios to New Mexico,” said New Mexico State Film Office Director Nick Maniatis. “For years, we’ve built up the film industry in New Mexico and strengthened our film incentives; now, we’re seeing success after success for the film industry in our state.”

The film office wouldn’t confirm or deny that the project was a Breaking Bad film.

So... will it be a prequel like Better Call Saul?? Will it be about Jesse Pinkman post-Breaking Bad?? Will any of the OG Breaking Bad stars even return?? I have so many questions!!!!

Either way, fans are fkn PUMPED over the shock news, with many believing the film will focus on Jesse's story following the death of Walter White. Others, however, are apprehensive about ruining the show's legacy.
